College Students at Kamaraj Memorial Haii Teynampet , Chennai., RYA President Shri Satyajit Jain welcomed the gathering.
The Function was graced by Shri Agarchand Chordia [Chairman Sri Jain Jellwery , Virudhachalam] , Dr.Malathi M.K.[Principal Guru Shree Shanti Vijay College Chennai] Shri Sudhir Lodha [Member State Minorities Commission] Special Guest Shri Vishal Cine Actor distributed Token Sets of Books .Dr.Malathi M.K distributed Medals and Certificates to meritorious students of RYA Book Bank Beneficiaries.
RYA Book Bank Chairman Rajesh Kumar Jain enlighted RYA Commenced leading Books with mere 25 Students in 1964 and has reached new heights and presently more than 2500 New Students are being lended books free of cost apart from 4990 Students of 2nd , 3rd and 4th year already benefited and Till date more than 90000 Students are being benefited from the project.
Shri Bharat Chordia informed the gathering regarding RYA Job Fair which is being started last year with a vision to arrange jobs for RYA Book Bank Beneficiaries.
Shri Dr.Malathi M K addressed the students and wished them good luck.
Shri Agarchand Chordia said that every student should help other students after obtaining a good status.
Shri Vishal narrated that it was surprising that a association which is 52 years old serving the cause of education was unnoticed till now.
Shri Sudhir Lodha praised the good work done by the association and also informed that the gathering that a proposal has been sent to Government of India for forming Book Bank all over India on guidelines of RYA Book Bank.
