Karthik the darling of the masses in the 90 s is still in Demand.He is back with a vengeance following the acclaim he received for ' Anegan'.. 'Jindhaa' produced by SAF Raja for his SAF cine mass, and directed by S K Vetri Selvan a former associate of Director Vasanth  went into the floors with a simple pooja in a City Studio today.'Jindhaa' will see Karthik  in a very powerful role that could feed his hunger for acting. Vaibhav proving to be a 'Friday solution' to the producers through his professionalism and good eye for great scripts following the stupendous success of 'Kappal'  play the lead in 'Jindhaa'.Paired opposite him will be Sushma Raj (The look alike of Anushka) of India Pakistan.

'This film is of a new genre 'Dark gangster comedy'. It is a energy oriented script and even as i was writing this script Karthik sir and Vaibhav sat into that. I'm sure they will bring life and energy to my characters who are lively. My producer S A F Raja happens to be my child hood friend and i thank him for providing me the plat form to show case my potentiality. K Dinesh marks his presence as cinematographer,K M Riaz Mohammed is the editor 'jindhaa' will be an absolute entertainer and we have two live wires Karthik sir and Vaibhav to show us in light' concluded Director S K Vetri Selvan with a victorious smile.

சினிமா பார்க்கும் ரசிகர்கள் யாரை கேட்டாலும் நான் நடிகர் கார்த்திக்கின் ரசிகர் என்றும் அவரது துடிப்பான நடிப்பு  தங்களுக்கு மிகவும் பிடிக்கும் என்றுக் கூறி கொள்வர்.அவரை அறித்தவர்கள் திரை உலகில் அவருக்கு மீண்டும் பெரிய வரவேற்ப்பு இருக்கும் என்பதை கணித்து கொண்டு இருந்தனர். 'அநேகன்' படத்தில் பெரும் பெயர் பெற்றதைத் தொடர்ந்து கார்த்திக்கின் இரண்டாவது இன்னிங்க்ஸ் கோலாகலமாக துவங்கியது. 'ஜிந்தா'  என்ற தலைப்பில் உருவாகும் ஒரு புதிய படத்தில் கார்த்திக் ஒரு முக்கிய கதா பாத்திரம் மூலம் தனது பயணத்தை தொடர்கிறார்.எஸ் ஏ  எப் சினி மாஸ் என்ற புதிய நிறுவனத்தின் சார்பில் எஸ் ஏ  ராஜா தயாரிக்க, இயக்குனர் வசந்திடம் இணை இயக்குனராக பணியாற்றிய எஸ் கே வெற்றி செல்வன் இயக்குனராக அறிமுகமாக ,ஏ ஆர் ரகுமானின் சகோதிரியின் மகன் ஹசார் காசிப் இசை அமைப்பாளராக அறிமுகமாகிறார். 'கப்பல்' படம் பெரும் வெற்றி அடைந்ததை ஒட்டி இளம் இயக்குனர்களின்  முதல் தர தேர்வு ஆக இருக்கும் வைபவ் நாயகனாக நடிக்க , அவருக்கு இணையாக நடிப்பவர் 'இந்தியா பாகிஸ்தான்' படம் மூலம்  அறிமுகமான  சுஷ்மா ராஜ்.

'இந்தக் கதை முற்றிலும் ஒரு புதிய முயற்சி ஆகும். இந்தக் கதைக்கு உற்சாகமும் , துள்ளலும் தான் மூல தனம். இந்தக் கதையை நான் எழுதும் போதே என் மனதில் வந்து அமர்ந்தவர்கள் கார்த்திக் சாரும் ,வைபவும் தான். அவ்வளவு பொருத்தமாக  இருந்தது.தயாரிப்பாளர் ராஜா சார் என்னுடைய நெருங்கிய  நண்பராவார்.என்னுடைய கதையைக் கேட்ட உடனே எனக்கு முதல் படம் இயக்க வாய்ப்பு அளித்தமைக்கு நான் என்றென்றும் கடமை பட்டு இருக்கிறேன். இந்தப் படத்தில் ஒளிபதிவாளராக  பணியாற்றுபவர்  போஜன் கே  தினேஷ். படத்தொகுப்பு கே எம் ரியாஸ் முஹம்மது . 'ஜிந்தா' எல்லா தரப்பு ரசிகர்களையும் கவரும் ஒரு ஜனரஞ்சகமான படம் ஆக இருக்கும் ' என்று  கூறினார் இயக்குனர் எஸ் கே வெற்றி செல்வன்.
