FIVE FILMS PER YEAR ?

Kamal Haasan is on a spree to reach his audience with his third feature for the year, Thoongavanam, which is  bracing up to release soon. As we spot him with the monopoly moustache and with no announcement regarding his next, the guessing game has got very interesting.

As an active participant of this game, Behindwoods was hinted by a source that Ulaganayagan will be teaming with ace director TK Rajeev Kumar after 27 years for an action thriller. This project will be a bilingual outing in Malayalam and Tamil.

Chanakyan (1989) was a landmark film of this actor-director duo in Malayalam which was both commercially and critically acclaimed.

For the current project, Kamal Haasan is touted to actively lend his creative ideas for the screenplay and dialogues while the original story will come from the captain of the ship, Rajeev.

Meanwhile, there are also speculations about his next project and the directors for the same. We also hear that the Sakalakala Vallavan is targeting to make five films per year! This indeed is real verithanam! An official announcement from Kamal’s side is expected soon.
