DooPaaDoo is a platform for independent Musicians & Music lovers

Lyricist Madhan Karky and team are coming up with a platform for musicians and music lovers on the 20th of April. This platform, named DooPaaDoo has already created a good buzz in social media among celebrities and the online community in igniting a question of what this platform has to offer. The name ‘DooPaaDoo’ is derived from the word ‘dopamine’ – a neurotransmitter which is responsible for releasing the happy hormones in the brain while listening to music. Through DooPaadoo, the team hopes to revive the music industry from its current situation of being entirely film-centric to encouragement of independent music.
Madhan Karky and his co-founder Kauntheya feel that the selling points of this platform are three things. One, the exclusivity of music in the portal. This means, the songs in DooPaaDoo will not be available on any other platform or apps but here. The second is that the ownership of the songs lie solely with the composers and producers. DooPaaDoo only holds the licence to play the songs. The third and most important selling point of DooPaaDoo is its revenue sharing model. The creators earn money lifelong for the creations they let DooPaaDoo host and DooPaaDoo lets their listeners earn money for being an active participant in encouraging original music. This creates an healthy environment in the music scene with budding talents having to rely only on their skills to be noticed. Additionally, by paying the listeners, DooPaaDoo hopes to take one-step closer to a Piracy free music industry.
With a strong technical team consisting of Mr. Saravanan, Mr. Raja, Mr. Thamiz and active conceptual support from Mr.Thirukumaran, all of whom are also co-founders of the platform, DooPaaDoo is aiming at becoming a multi-language music portal and a social networking platform which will bridge the gap between music creators and listeners.
DooPaaDoo already has a collection of invaluable songs from composers like A R Rahman, Santhosh Narayanan, Anirudh, Imman, Andreah etc waiting to be launched. When people see active film-music composers shift their notice to independent music and contribute to the same, they believe the listeners will follow suit too.
