Following his DFT Justin assisted the renowned music director Harris Jeyaraj and worked in several films for almost three and a half years. ‘K’wood’s most promising star Vijay sethupathi’s ‘Pannaiyaruum Padminiyum’ was his first debut. His quirky compositions caught the attention of the discerning music lovers. After the stupendous success of his composition in that film, Justin scored for Orange Mittai, Malayalam movie Kunjiramayanam and attakathi dinesh’s Oru Naal Koothu.
Music composer Justin Prabhakaran is someone who is in search of unheard melodies and the same can be expected in his upcoming film ‘Raja Mandhiri’. Talking about the soundtracks, “There are five songs in the movie namely Pambaram, Snegithiey, Cauliflowerey, Leguva leguva and Kootathai Kooti. All the five are my favorite but the title track Pambaramwhich was sung by Chinna Ponnu is closest to my heart. The reason behind this is, during this songs’s recording we were surprised by the casual visit of Maestro Ilayaraja. It took 30 minutes for me to get back from that pleasurable shock. The blessing that I got from the maestro will be an unforgettable moment in my entire life,” says the young composer and signs off.
