Nandamuri Balakrishna is expected to make official announcement about his prestigious 100th film on the auspicious day of Ugadi (April 8th) at Andhra Pradesh capital city- Amaravati. Sensible director Krish will helm the project while his close friend Rajiv Reddy who produced several films of him will produce the landmark on First Frame banner.
Latest update about the project is the makers have registered the title Gauthamiputra Satakarni for the historical drama to be made on massive budget. Gauthamiputra Satakarni is the name of the powerful emperor of Satavahana dynasty and Balakrishna will be portraying the role.
In the past several titles like Amaravati Raju and Yodhudu were heard, but the makers finally chose to go with Gauthamiputra Satakarni.
Apparently, Balakrishna liked war sequences in Krish's previous movie Kanche, so he is giving the chance of directing his milestone venture. Currently, the director is busy with script works. As per insiders, the film will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 50 crores. Other details of the project are awaited. -
