Kenanya films bubbling with energy and gaiety after the success of the much critically acclaimed 'Oru Naal Koothu' is all set to deliver a soft punch on the audience with their next film 'Ulkuthu'.  Starring Dinesh and Nandhitha in the lead 'Ulkuthu' is a film that depicts the life of a coastal village in the South. Shot exclusively across the oceanic visuals of Nagercoil and the surrounding villages 'Ulkuthu' has Bala Saravanan, John Vijay, Chaya Singh, Sriman , 'Pandiya Nadu' fame Sharath, Dilip Subburayan, and the popular chef Damodaran in the cast list.  The strong amalgamation of established and valuable technicians like the promising Justin Prabhakaran as the music director, the gifted K L Praveen as the Editor, and the talented Pramod of cuckoo as the cameraman assures the audience a film of sheer quality. The re union of the successful combo Producer Selva Kumar J, Director Caarthik Raju, and The Hero 'Attakathi' Dinesh following their earlier success 'Thirudan Police'  gives more value addition to 'Ulkuthu'.  Kenanya films is mapping themselves in to the film industry with films of different genres and depth in content. ‘Ulkuthu’ is slated for a mid-August release and will be followed by Bruce lee starring G V Prakash, and 'Server Sundharam ' starring Santhanam in the lead. 

'Ulkuthu' recieved a major boost with the arrival of Abinesh Elangovan into this project. Abinesh with a keen eye on projects that earn the audience's attention has associated himself with Kenanya films on acquiring the theatrical rights of 'Ulkuthu' through his company Abi and Abi Pictures. This association as seen as a major amalgamation in terms of commercial interest in the trade circles. The soft spoken Abinesh with the growing reputation of being a major player in the film circles says' my company is determined enough to identify projects that attract the attention of the audience with pure content value. 'Ulkuthu' perfectly filled in to this tag easily. It is an action packed commercial film with a difference. I was fortunate enough to watch the major portion of the film and I was impressed a lot. Plenty of laughable moments and the visuals were absolutely brilliant. We are planning to release the teaser in the first week of July and the audio event will follow by the third week of July. 'Ulkuthu' has got all the possible magic to create a box office record and I am sure with this film my company will anchor itself as one of the major players in the distribution circle'.
