While interacting to a news channel, Kamal Haasan has revealed that Lyca Productions are keen in producing Marudha Nayagan but he is currently waiting for the right time to begin the film.
“It’s not just a Tamil film, I want it to be on par with international standards and it will take some more time”, he said. Asked him whether the old visuals match the current standard, Kamal has said that Marudha Nayagam is ahead of its time and at least advanced by one decade. Lyca Productions is currently bankrolling Kamal Haasan’s Sabash Naidu as well.
